Fragment Encounters

This is my finished edition for a collective project I've been asked to take part called "Fragment Encounters" by American artist Karen Kunc: the proposal is for a collaborative Artist Project that brings together 12 artists participants in a unique exchange format and creative solution. The artists will first share with each other printed fragments from their print process, such as proofs, test prints, old editions, that will be sent to each other. These fragments will spark new responses and resolution for each maker to develop a new print work using these printed pieces via collage, chine collé, digital inclusion etc. The new works will be made in an edition of 15, collected and exchanged, and the project will be exhibit in September at the next Impact conference in Santander, Spain.


Questa è la mia edizione completa per un progetto collettivo che si chiama "Fragment Encounters" a cui sono stata invitata a partecipare dall'artista americana Karen Kunc: il progetto collettivo unisce 12 artisti da diverse parti del mondo che so sono scambiati frammenti di alcuni loro lavori: questi frammenti sono stati inseriti nella creazione di una nuova tiratura, in 15 esemplari, che sarà esposta al prossimo Impact che si terrà a settembre a Santander in Spagna: è un progetto che mi è piaciuto moltissimo e non vedo l'ora di poter ammirare gli altri lavori.
